Obtaining GRUB
GRUB 2 is now available via ftp. You can download releases from the ftp site ftp://alpha.gnu.org/gnu/grub.
All the development is done through the SVN repository. If you are interested in the cutting-edge version of GNU GRUB, for example, to test a newer version or to add new features, we strongly recommend giving a try to get the SVN version. You can obtain the instructions on how to get GRUB from the SVN in GNU GRUB - SVN.
In this SVN repository, these two modules are available freely:
- grub
- This module is for GRUB Legacy.
- grub2
- This module is for GRUB 2.
