Mismatched ids: 0. # text 75 As interest in using Emacs was growing, other people became involved in the GNU project, and we decided that it was time to seek funding once again to support the development of the GNU operating system. So in 1985 I brought in friends who cared about the goal, and created the <a href=" https://www.fsf.org/ ">Free Software Foundation</a> (FSF), a tax-exempt charity for free software development.
