11 Reporting Bugs

If you find a bug in GNU CSSC, please report this via the cssc bug tracking system at http://savannah.gnu.org/bugs/?group=cssc. Please include the version number, which you can find by giving the option --version to any CSSC command. Also include in your message the output that the program produced and the output you expected. An s. file and instructions for reproducing the error are almost essential unless the bug is very trivial. If you are unable to send the actual s-file itself due to confidentiality concerns, you can mask the contents by using the script mogrify.awk, which removes the contents of an SCCS file while preserving its structure. You will need to use admin -z on the result in order to correct the checksum of the transformed version of the file. If you do this, please make sure that you check that the problem still occurs with the transformed version of the file.
