4.8 Hiding minor modes with diminish and delight

use-package supports the diminish and delight packages, both of which make it possible to remove or change minor mode strings in your mode-line. Which one to use is up to you, but you should normally only use one or the other – never both.² To use either of them, you must first install the corresponding package from GNU ELPA.
