The WoMan menu provides an option to make a contents menu for the
current man page (using imenu
). Alternatively, if you customize
the option woman-imenu
to t
then WoMan will do it
automatically for every man page. The menu title is set by the option
woman-imenu-title
, which is “CONTENTS” by default. The menu
shows manual sections and subsections by default, but you can change
this by customizing woman-imenu-generic-expression
.
WoMan is configured not to replace spaces in an imenu *Completion* buffer. For further documentation on the use of imenu, such as menu sorting, see the source file imenu.el, which is distributed with GNU Emacs.
