3.1.4.1 Single commands

Current month of current year, called single month mode in the further context.

Selected year, called single year mode in the further context, e.g.:

gcal 1992

But there is an exception of this general rule. If the specified year number is less or equal twelve, Gcal assumes that a selected month of the current year is wanted. If you want to have a selected year less or equal twelve, call Gcal like this

gcal 1:6

or like this

gcal 6+6

to obtain the year AD 6.

Single fiscal year, starting on the actual month of the actual year and ending on month actual month-1 of the actual year+1, called implicit fiscal year in the further context, e.g.:
