M2-Planet 11, when combined with mescc-tools; allows one to compile a subset of the C language into working binaries with introspective steps inbetween. In 2021 M2-Planet with release 1.8.0 reached a level of maturity that allowed to build MesCC-Tools and Mes. This allows for another reduction the Guix bootstrap binaries: mes and mescc-tools can be removed.
