GDB Mailing Lists

There are several mailing lists for discussions about GDB development, GDB announcements, GDB bug reports, and GDB patches.
gdb-announce (archives)
A read-only low volume list for the posting of announcements about releases or other important events.
gdb (archives)
A list for general discussion about GDB. Any GDB-related subject not covered by another list is appropriate here; in practice, most of the discussions are about ideas for future changes. Patches should be sent to the gdb-patches mailing-list (see below). Bugs should be reported using the Bug Database.
gdb-patches (archives)
For patch submissions and discussion. All patch submissions and submission discussion should go through this list.
gdb-prs (archives)
A read-only mailing list for bug reports. See the Bug Database for information on how to submit a bug.
gdb-testers (archives)
is a list for the announcement of development snapshots and the reporting of test results.
gdb-cvs (archives)
A read-only list for git commit messages from commits to the GDB git repository. Note that this list may be high volume from time to time. It has an odd name for historical reasons.
src-cvs (archives)
A read-only list for git commit messages from the top-level files and shared directories. It has an odd name for historical reasons
gdbadmin (archives)
A read-only list for cron log messages and other dull boring stuff.

Former Resources, No Longer Active Nor Monitored
